The Teen Guidance Program is for teens 13 to 17 years of age that for whatever reason feel they need extra guidance in their lives to navigate the many decisions and pressures put on them daily. This program affords these teens a guide that they will have 24/7 access to through a text based medium. All communication between teen and guide are 100% confidential, unless self harm or harm to others is evident.
The guide helps talk through problems or questions a teen may have without influencing the outcome of the teens choices. The Guide will only give honest facts and honest opinions when asked. Once the teen has made a choice then the program will support that decision as best and as much as possible.
The program has access to a PRIVATE and moderated Facebook group. This group is populated by members of both the Teen AND the Transitional Guidance Programs and is a safe place, and a non-judgmental place that members can ask fellow teens and young adults questions , or ask for homework help or just share fun outings.
The Teen Guidance Program has a special “emergency need” program as well. If a teen is in dire need of an item such as shoes or a piece of clothing, the guide will explain how to make that request and the request is made through the program management, then a decision will be made on whether or not the PASS Organization feels the need great enough to act immediately. A teen must be in the program and active for at least one quarter (3 months) before this is open to them.
There is also a goal rewards program for completing a life goal that the teen has set with their guide. The award is the purchase of an item they need or want within reason. This item will be received at the end of the current quarter that the goal was achieved. Awards are also based on accomplishments so tell you guide about any thing you do, you never know what might count.
We have a program supervisor that each member can reach out to at anytime if they feel something isn’t right or they feel uneasy about something. We encourage teens to report that immediately to management!!
Once a teen is in the program, participating is highly encouraged. If the teen does not participate or respond to their guide within 7 days of a text, they will be terminated from the program. If a teen has received any item from the program or the program has spent money on the teen, then the teen has 3 days to reply or be terminated from the program. The program supervisor will notify the teen of the termination and how they may be reinstated into the program.
The most communications are through text, the teen can earn phone call or video call privileges, this is decided by the guide.
If you or someone you know is interested in joining either program, click on the services tab and click the “Join Guidance Programs” button.

Great initial post! Couldn’t agree more that the Teen Gudiance Program is truly rewarding. It’s comforting to know someone is there to talk about any little or big factor that has occurred throughout our lives. Glad to be apart of the program.
